Milk VFX Co-founder Sara Bennett to Speak at BFI’s ‘The Art of VFX: Creating Worlds, Shaping Visions

We are delighted to announce that Sara Bennett, VFX Supervisor and co-founder of Milk, will be among the featured speakers at the BFI London Film Festival’s Industry Forum on Thursday, 9 October, during the session titled “The Art of VFX: Creating Worlds, Shaping Visions”.

The event (2:30 pm–3:30 pm at Picturehouse Central) will explore the evolving craft of visual effects — pulling back the curtain on how VFX teams collaborate with filmmakers and showrunners, and examining how VFX is increasingly used in the earliest stages of production to serve and enhance the filmmaker’s vision.

Sara will join an illustrious panel including:

  • Fiona Walkinshaw (CEO Film & Episodic, Framestore)
  • Ellen Walder (COO & Co-founder, beloFX)
  • Arpita Venugopal (Head of FX, One Of Us)

The panel will be hosted by Ian Haydn Smith.

This is a rare opportunity to hear from some of the UK’s leading minds in VFX as they discuss the art, technology, and creative collaboration behind some of today’s most ambitious visual storytelling.
