We’re thrilled to have been nominated for a BAFTA Television Craft Award for our work on Netflix’ Cursed!
Milk has been nominated in the Special, Visual & Graphic Effects category alongside overall VFX Supervisor Dave Houghton, Freefolk, Goodbye Kansas, Dneg TV and Greg Fischer.
Led by our VFX Supervisor Ciaran Crowley the Milk team created 390 shots including a pack of larger-than-life CG wolves developed from concept through to animation; a complex forest environment in which lead character Nimue fights them; and a dramatic waterfall environment where a combat sequence takes place at the climax of the final episode.
Huge congratulations to our talented Milk team and all the other Cursed VFX crews who share the nomination with us!
Cursed is up against strong competition in the category alongside The Crown, Julian Murphy’s War Of The Worlds, and His Dark Materials. The ceremony takes place on 24th May.
