The Award was presented to Sara by ‘Free Fire’ Director Ben Wheatley at the annual Women In Film and Television Awards 2016, held at the Hilton Park Lane, on Friday 2nd December and hosted by Sandi Toksvig.
A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the Eon Lifetime achievement Award to Beryl Vertue, Sherlock Executive Producer (and Milk client for Sherlock). Beryl’s acceptance speech was incredibly inspiring and entertaining and received a standing ovation. And very fittingly and to add to the excitement the award was presented to Beryl by Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch.
