We are looking for a runner to support our busy team, to enable them to produce work of the calibre that Milk is recognised for.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in VFX and be keen to learn technical and creative skills where you grow your knowledge about VFX. This is an entry-level opportunity for those looking to establish an exciting career in studio/facilities management
Job Description
Ensuring that all studio operations run smoothly, including vendors, facilities, and office supplies/equipment.
Taking and distributing minutes of meetings.
Taking ownership of additional responsibilities as needed.
Manage stocks and supplies, arranging orders where necessary; ensuring refreshments, stationery, general office equipment and bathrooms are well stocked.
Reception duties – including dealing with calls, welcoming clients, providing refreshments for meetings and clients, and booking meeting rooms, cars and couriers.
Providing support to producers and managers, assisting producers with documents’ presentation where necessary, including adding images to layout, lamination, binding, scanning and photocopying.
Assisting all employees with queries and helping to resolve any problems.
Take lunch and dinner orders when necessary.
Ensure meeting rooms, reception, kitchens, and communal areas are always clean and tidy.
Occasional delivery of drives and post.
Work the occasional weekend.
Client-facing hospitality experience essential
Requirements:
– Experience in setting up processes.
– Excellent analytical skills, creative problem solver, and strong written and oral communication skills.
– Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and projects with an awareness of deadlines.
