Milk were the main VFX vendor on the feature film by Ric Roman Waugh, Kandahar.

The VFX brief for Milk was to create, a CG environment build of a nuclear facility in the desert and later the CG FX explosion of this building including scenes of the the aftermath/destruction. In addition the team was tasked with developing CG helicopters and the proceeding crash, a second environmental build of a refugee camp as well as black and white ‘night vision’ shots, muzzle flashes, bullet impacts & blood splatter for the action sequences.

The main challenge of this project was creating a believable CG FX explosion of a facility that was built predominantly underground so our team of creatives RnD’d the explosion motion for many weeks. Although taking time the Fordow environment is one of our highlights of the project due to the great spectacle of the final result.
