We made the VFX for 3 festive TV specials – The Return of Doctor Mysterio (Doctor Who); Sky One’s The Last Dragonslayer & new Sherlock!
Before we had even finished wrapping our secret santa pressies we had already delivered the effects for the BBC’s “The Return of Doctor Mysterio” the Doctor Who Christmas Special which airs on Christmas Day at 5.45pm on BBC One. Expect lots of flying amid New York skylines (made by us) and much superhero homagerie!
“The Last Dragonslayer” is Sky’s festive feature-length family drama, an adaptation of Jasper Fforde’s novel. We had the pleasure of working with Director Jamie Stone to create the visual effects with a focus on the conception and animation of hero dragon Maltcassion, voiced by Richard E Grant. Watch on Christmas Day on Sky One.
And…on New Year’s Day comes the first in the much anticipated new series of the BBC/Hartswood’s “Sherlock” on BBC One. We. Cannot. wait.
We’re looking forward to settling down with a mince pie or three to watch!
